Stephen speaks with Christian schools, churches and ministry leaders about understanding AI, using it wisely, and seeing what the Bible says about being human.
“Steve has the ability to engage people with authenticity, and humility while also thinking deeply about the big questions that matter. He connects theology, philosophy, culture, and everyday practice in a way that is both insightful and accessible. Our delegates responded extremely well to his presentations, and the feedback we received was overwhelmingly positive.”

Why this conversation matters
The tools are changing how we learn, work and relate.
A student can hand in a first-class essay having learnt little. A pastor can paste a brilliant paragraph into a sermon without wrestling with the text. An AI friend can always affirm, without rebuke, gradually pulling your child into a friction-free world.
Whether we like it or not, we now live in the AI age. Even if we don't use the technology, our friends, students, children and staff teams will be using it. The best way to think about it is to think about it biblically.
In Australian universitiesAI use has more than doubled.Students who say they have used generative AI to support their studies.

For your audience
Three main audiences
01
Christian schools & educators
When a student hands in a strong essay written by AI, the problem is bigger than cheating: they miss the thinking. Stephen explores assessment that rewards honest work, the value of struggle, and ways AI could free teachers for more time with their students.
02
Churches & Christian organisations
People are asking chatbots for companionship, advice and even a sense of purpose. Stephen brings creation, sin, the cross and new creation to those conversations, and asks why real neighbours and gathered worship matter more than a perfectly tailored digital life. He loves opportunities to speak to seekers and enquirers into the Christian faith.
03
Pastors & ministry leaders
A chatbot can deliver a convincing sermon outline in seconds. Stephen asks when assistance becomes authorship, why writing can be part of wrestling with Scripture, and how ministers can use AI without surrendering their own voice or pastoral judgement.
